Messing About in Boats

I will be away on vacation from Friday, July 28/23 to Sunday, August 13/23, cruising north on my Good Old Boat (appropriately named "Come From Away"), together with friends on their boat.

While away, I will have little and generally no access to the internet or email, as I will be travelling in areas where there is, more often than not, no cell service.

Perhaps the most quoted written reference to boating comes from Kenneth Grahame‘s classic book, The Wind in the Willows, where the Water Rat said to the Mole: “Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.”
