Hi Members. We are unexpectedly (but happily) undergoing some electrical renovations in the Library today, so you might want to steer clear of the Library altogether, if at all possible.
We knew the electricians for the County would be coming sometime, but we had no idea it would be today. No complaints, however, as they are doing work we have been anxiously waiting to get done.
The electricians are rewiring the "Closet" at the end of the Boardroom with proper lights and electrical outlets, so we can renovate and convert that space into a "Zoom Room / Privacy Booth" so Members can attend Virtual Court in private, without having to sit at the Boardroom Table.
So I would strongly suggest that you not use the green door into the Boardroom, off the parking lot between Service Ontario and the Jail. You would be better off using the back door, across from the door to the Jail.
The larger Law Libraries across the Province are all being encouraged by LiRN to purchase privacy booths (similar to the ones above), that we simply do not have room for. So adaptation of the Closet into a Privacy Booth is the best we can do to serve you, our Members.
